17 weeks!
Before leaving IL
Some good family pics. Not sure why I look so big in the last one. Could be the huge lunch I had just eaten, could be the camera! :)
Good morning! Last weekend, Burton and I both had Friday off so we decided to head to Bolingbrook, IL to visit the Kubals and see both the nephews play basketball. First, we had a doctor's appointment to check on my weight gain and I was up 2 pounds so they are not concerned about my progress. I am starting to feel this little active baby throughout the day and it's no wonder because it is a busy little thing. The nurse was laughing because she had to start her heart rate count over 5 times because Baby Dub kept moving. The HR was 144. I still think boy and Daddy thinks girl! We'll see.
From there, we hit the road. We've had no snow all winter, and of course the night before we were leaving, everyone got dumped on with snow where we were heading. The roads were rough in some spots, but we made it there safely. Friday, we all ordered some pizza then went to Justin's Varsity basketball game where Bri and her new boyfriend Jake met up with us. The team won, it was a great game. After the game, we all went home and had a great visit. The next morning, we all got around and went to Jack's 5th grade game, which Mike coaches. Mike had been out of town for work and got back late Friday night so we were happy to see him on Saturday. They also won and Jack had a great game! After the game, we went and had a nice lunch and visit, but it was time to head home after that due to me having LLPC supervision on Sunday. First, we had to take pics, though! :)
This Tuesday, we have our anatomy ultrasound and we're so excited to see how big the baby has gotten! We will get to see all the anatomy as it has formed...except for the anatomy between the legs as that will remain a surprise until June! I have been feeling really good and still getting to the gym and coming home and sleeping a lot!
Well, I better get ready for church. Have a great week everyone!
Love, The Weltes + 1

It was such a good visit...always go too fast! We love that you were able to make the trip- at a "risky-weather"- time of year. I've smiled & chuckled all week...thinking of our talks & time together. Special memories & special family-time! And you look perfect (& very pretty), Mama! (:
Thanks for the update and great pictures...So happy you all were able to catch up and see the boys games.
