AT 14 weeks, I had gained 7 lbs which is on track with where I should be, but when I weighed myself around 15 weeks, I had gone down 3 lbs. This worried me, but everyone I have talked to and everything I have read says this is okay as long as it is not consistent. They look more at the overall weight gain and not week by week. I am back up a couple lbs and should be plus 12 lbs total in the next 4 weeks so I have to gain 5-6 more lbs by then. Looking at my belly growth, it seems like Baby W is growing so I am trying not to be concerned. I think all the extra activity I have been doing may have contributed to the loss.
We took down all our decorations Friday and rearranged our living room giving us more space for the baby's swing, toys etc. I think I forgot to mention in my previous post that Baby Dub got tons of gifts for Christmas from all grandparents, my brother and sister (and Harp), my aunts and my cousins. The room that will be the nursery is full of baby stuff already. It is so fun.
Yesterday, Burton and I headed to Old Navy because the one by us has a small maternity section and I am in need of some new clothes at this point. I got some cute stuff and trying on clothes was actually fun. I didn't have to worry about sucking in etc. Fun!
After that, I headed to my stylist to finally get my hair colored since that is not suggested during first trimester and decided to chop my hair. I get up so early so an easier do was needed. My stylist was so excited about my "full pregnancy hair." His wife is expecting twins in a few weeks so we talked a lot about pregnancy, obgyn's, the hospital we are delivering in etc. How our conversations have changed over the years! :) I really like my hair and no it is not a "Mom bob!" I have had it this short several times!
Well, we're heading off to church now. Have a wonderful Sunday!
16 Weeks and my new do!
