Pool time with the cutest little swimmer! We love this kid!
Loving the weather!
Last day in Florida, Manasota Beach
Hello friends and family! Sorry it's been a little while since I blogged. We got very busy with the holidays and then back to school. So, here is an update.
I got out of school on the 20th which was nice so I could get prepared for our trip to Florida for Christmas. On the 22nd, I had a doctor's appointment where I got to hear the heartbeat again (152bpm) and they said everything is going well. Burton could not make this appointment which was okay since it was only about 10 mins. I scheduled our next appointment for Jan. 24th which will be the anatomy ultrasound and we're sticking to not finding out the sex. Just hoping to see a very healthy baby.
When Burton got home from work on the 22nd, we got in the car and started our drive to FL. We made great time, 20 hours, and hit no bad weather and no traffic. We arrived around 2pm on the 23rd and the first thing I did (after running to the potty, of course) was hold my niece Harper who I have not seen since she was born. Her little face lit up and I pretty much never put her down or stopped kissing her the rest of the trip. She is SO cute!
We had beautiful weather, unlike most other years. It was 85 on Christmas day and we were at the beach. We were at the pool or the beach almost every day. It was wonderful!
My sister, Harper and I headed to Babies R Us the day after Christmas while everyone else golfed and started my registry. Holy overwhelming! Thank GOD my sis was there to help me with what I do and do not need. Burton and I will go back in the next month or 2 to make final decisions and add all the little stuff. It was fun, but also stressful!
We had a great trip with our family and the drive home was as smooth as the way down.
Happy new year to you all. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and new year.
Love, The Weltes + 1
