Anatomy Ultrasound and a trip to Nana's

Good morning! I know I have a lot to catch up on so I will try my best. At 18 weeks and 4 days, we went in for our Anatomy Ultrasound. They do u/s's right on the office we go to which is so nice and personal. Everything looks great with Baby Dub! He or she is measuring just above the 50th percentile for gestational age...of course this Welte baby is measuring bigger than some. Surprise anyone?! As always, our little peanut was wiggling around the whole time so getting a good pic was difficult, but I am happy with the one she got. We think he or she is VERY cute already just from this black and white profile pic. The doctor and u/s tech were excited that we were not finding out the sex. It's going to be so fun and I know so many people who are doing the same now. I think it will be the new trend.
I am still feeling great and getting to the gym at least 2 times a week. Baby is moving often when I am sitting or lying still. I still tire very easily and fall asleep on the couch early most nights, but I don't mind the extra sleep...school has been crazy!
Burton and his friends usually go to Tip-Up-Town in Houghton Lake annually, but this year there was not enough snow (by the time they had to decide), so they cancelled. We decided we would go the next weekend to check out the festivities and visit Nana Debbie, Gram, Aunt Nancy and MJ. By this time, HL had lots of snow and the lake was mostly frozen. We got up Friday around 9 pm (after a long search for pizza at about 3 different exits. I was craving it and we didn't end up getting any) and had a nice visit with Deb and John. Saturday we decided to check out TUT. Burton had not experienced the family, fun side before as he and his buddies usually hang in the beer tent. How is life is already changing. It was a fun carnival in the snow, but it was cold so we didn't stay too long. The rest of the weekend was filled with nice visits with everyone and as always, good food! We are so lucky to have so much great family and everyone is so excited about our little guy or girl.

Have a nice day!

Love, The Weltes + 1
