Checking things off the list!

27 Weeks! Just before Grandpa GB's party!

Next week starts my third trimester. I feel like the time is really flying by now and we still have lots to do! I had an appointment on Tuesday for blood work and the glucose test to make sure I have not picked up Gestational Diabetes and it looks like everything is clear. It was a really informative appointment and we got all our classes scheduled. Heart rate was 160 and everything is measuring where it should be and they said my weight is exactly where it should be. All good stuff!
Burton had a couple days off before starting his new job so he started working on the nursery a bit. Basically, we just got everything out of the room, measured where the second color of paint and chair rail will be and sanded the area he is going to paint. We just have to buy the supplies and find some time. Next up is putting the furniture together. Lots of fun jobs for Daddy!
Speaking of Daddy, he just took off today for training in Omaha, Nebraska for the week. This is the longest we will have been apart and it was hard to say good bye. Luckily I have a lot to do this week to keep me busy, but it is still sad. I am so proud of him and he is so excited about this new job, though.
Last night, we went back to Owosso for George and Krista's wedding party at the K of C and it was a great time. So many people came out and Burton was so excited that so much of his family got to see me pregnant. Everyone commented on how excited he seems about the baby. We had a good time and stayed at Aunt Kay and Uncle Mike's then had a nice visit with them and Uncle Jim and and Aunt Carole before meeting up at St. Paul with GB, Krista and Bri for Mass. It was a great weekend!
