Turning 29 and entering third tri!

28 Weeks- Officially in 3rd trimester!

Before my birthday dinner!

I celebrated my last birthday in my twenties and before true motherhood on April 2nd. The Saturday before my bday, we got a small group together for some yummy Japanese hibachi dinner at a place by our house. Our friend Tracy's, who is about 15 weeks pregnant, birthday is April 1st, so the past 2 or 3 years, we have been celebrating together. So Tracy and her hubby Jay, Rick and his gf Melissa and other friends Kelly and Larry all joined us for dinner. The boys were really enjoying the saki and the ladies were really enjoying our food and our fun Japanese chef who kept sneaking me extra food saying "You are 2 people!" lol
On my actual birthday, one of the other counselors and I took a group of 46 juniors on college tours to Oakland University and University of Detroit Mercy. Lots of walking, but both really nice campuses. Although I did my Master's at OU, I never really ventured out to campus much. It was a great day and is always nice to get out of the building once and a while. When I came back to my office, I had a beautiful delivery of roses from my father in law and Krista. So nice! That night, we just laid low and ordered pizza. I was quite exhausted from the day of walking. It was a good birthday and I felt very blessed and loved. The best part of the week was that it was a 3 day work week. Spring break started the 5th and goes until the 16th. I leave for California Tuesday the 10th!
