So, Burton and I have decided it may be time to become grown-ups. We heard about the government extending the $8,000 tax credit for first-time home buyers and thought it may be worth poking around online and looking at houses. Poking around online turned into getting a Realtor, getting approved for a mortgage and now we are going to look at 5 or 6 houses this weekend. There are truly some amazing deals out there and now is definitely the time to buy with the incentive and the market. The houses we are looking at are in Berkley and Royal Oak and we are so excited to see them as they all look awesome online. I will keep you posted!
Quick Update:
We had a wonderful time in Florida with my family. The weather was not super warm, but it did sure beat the MI snow we returned to. We also had a great weekend with George before we left for FL then when we came back we got to go to dinner with Bobb and Burton drove him back to Owosso. They got some good brother bonding time in! :) We had a blast on NYE in Novi with Kate, Gary, Amanda, Brent, Tia, Joey and Jill. Then, on NY day, we headed up to HL to have our Christmas with Deb, Gram, Nancy and MJ. We had a nice visit and got some cross-country skiiing in! Great holidays!
My 4th semester started last night. This is the last semester I have to take 3 classes and 2 of the 3 I am taking focus on school counseling so I am really looking forward to those.
Burton's office moved to Pontiac and he is not loving his drive, but is certainly thankful for a job with the same company for 6 years this month! Congrats to him! He is an amazing husband and engineer!
Wish us luck on finding our first little love nest! :)
