My rehearsal "bouquet!" I got a lot of great stuff!Okay, I know it has been a while since I have updated this. It's not that I haven't wanted to...I have just been swamped with other wedding details like getting people to RSVP and setting up my seating chart!
On June 13th, my beautiful bridesmaids threw me a shower at my friend and coworker Denise's house. Everything was PERFECT! Kate started buying stuff for this shower LAST YEAR...now that is a prepared MoH! This shower was very special to me because it was put on by my bridesmaids and the detail and planning that went into making it happen is a reflection of what special friends/family I have in my life! Thank you girls for making it amazing and thank you to all who came all the way there for me!
Denise rented a big party tent and the girls rented tables and chairs for it. It looked so classy and at night with the candles lit especially classy. We played a couple of games including guess her age (pictured above). My Mom got Kate a bunch of pics of me growing up and put them together so nicely on a cute board. My cousin Brittni won this one! Then there was the how well do you know me game and my high school friend Erin cleaned house on that! We feasted on Mexican food (my fave) and had some yummy Sangria! It wasn't the warmest weather, but it was beautiful altogether. Denise's husband made a fire for us later on and we hung out for a bit before dispersing.
These are the things that I will never forget in my life. All of you have made my engagement one of the best years of my life. I cannot wait for the wedding!
